St. Patrick’s Baptismal Team grew out of an awareness of the need for instruction on the meaning and the significence of the Sacrament of Baptism and how important it is for parents to pass on the gift of faith to their children. The Baptismal Team was commissioned by Fr. Gerry Campbell, on April 6th 2008, following an eight-week training period, administered by Sr. Monica, Convent of Mercy. Fr. Emlyn Mc Ginn was co-ordinator of the Baptism Team. Unfortunately for us Fr. Emlyn has been appointed as full-time chaplain to DKIT. We wish him every success in his new ministry and we look forward to working with our new coordinator - Fr. Michael Sheehan.
