African Community

Africans Sharing faith

The African Catholics in Dundalk and surrounding areas gather with Fr. John Anih every fourth night in St Patrickʼs Confraternity room to share their experiences in their different parish communities.

These gatherings are characterised by the liveliness that Africans are known for. They come from Rwanda, Ghana, Congo Democratic Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Togo, Cameroon and Nigeria and worship in the four parishes in Dundalk. These gatherings among other things are times of empowerment for them to go and get more involved in the lives of their resident parishes.
